Cutting off our nose to spite our face—that is, destroying green space that is fundamental to our long-term survival as a species (and in protection of thousands of other species) is a foolish act of short-term profit chasing.
Our province is full of under-utilized developed areas which, rather than sitting empty and neglected, could be refurbished or struck down and rebuilt.
Would that require changes in zoning, infrastructure updates, and creativity? Of course it would. But I would a thousand times over rather do that with my tax dollars than develop more land because it’s “easier”.
Spend the money. Protect our future.
No to the revisions.
