One of my concerns is that a simple registration processs allows those to “begin activities” on the land. Who will be ensuring this is done while being conscious of the surrounding areas, maintaining the integrity of the land and species that inhabit it.

I have grave concerns that this will have severely negative ecological impacts on Ontarios landscape. We need to use resources and land for houses and mining, but not at the cost of the provinces longevity. Please consider adding back some safeguards to protect the land and areas that endangered species live, beyond just registering.
