As an Ontario citizen I absolutely oppose having environmental protections attacked like this. Environmental protections are inherent to our freedoms and right to health. There is no safe way to have exclusionary zones, and there is no reason (other than corruption) to take away public input or add the proposed government exclusionary zones.
The economy and unregulated corporate growth is absolutely NOT more important than clean air and water for us and animal life in the province. I would expect any premier, who puts profits and personal gain over the people of Ontario, to withdraw these ideas. Frankly Doug Ford needs to resign over his corruption, but I'll settle for him not stripping environmental protections.
Sincerely,
Present and future citizens of the land of the Province of Ontario
