Ontario has a strong history and passion for its natural beauty, and teeming wildlife. Are we really going to use the excuse of “oh it’s too complicated to understand the rules” to roll back the endangered species act?
This seems like nothing but a sneaky way to increase investor value of protected areas. There are plenty of open fields, without tree canopy’s and wildlife, that are being developed. And housing is not needed in spaces like the greenbelt, it is needed in existing cities with low density.
Make the right decision here, and keep our environmental protection standards high. This is what it means to be Canadian.
