We need this proposal now…

We need this proposal now more than ever, not only to protect species and their habitats for our children, and our children's children, but also because short-term gain means long-term pain. In other words, we are asking for so much more hardship in the future, with immeasurable costs attached, when we disrupt our ecosystems with such little care for the effects. Everything is interconnected, and putting protections in place for species has a ripple effect on the water, the air, food security, etc. Please put this proposal in action, for the sake of the seven generations to come. Thank you.
