I oppose Bill 5. Endangered species and environmental protection need to be a priority. The system is set up to ensure there is not irreversible damage done to our environment in order to create more money making opportunities. I want stronger environment protection laws and oppose any short cuts for industries with no public oversight. I absolutely oppose overriding the law in “special economic zones”. I do not agree with this bill and as an Ontario resident I am ashamed that we are putting the economy before our environment.
