I oppose Bill 5. I want stronger protections for endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry with no public oversight.
I opposed overriding the law in special economic zones.
Protecting our green spaces and the species that inhabit them, whether endangered or not, is crucial for maintaining biodiversity, improving human health, and contributing to climate change resilience. Green spaces provide habitats for a wide range of plants and animals, and their loss can disrupt entire ecosystems and reduce biodiversity. Beyond their ecological significance, these spaces offer numerous benefits to human health, including stress reduction, opportunities for physical activity, and improved air quality. Moreover, green spaces play a vital role in mitigating the impacts of climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide and reducing the urban heat island effect.
