As a Canadian and an Ontario…

As a Canadian and an Ontario resident, I do not support Bill 5. Our communities need safeguards that protect vulnerable communities, our environment, vulnerable species as well as our Indigenous peoples.

Due diligence needs time. We don't want to risk further damage to vulnerable communities/species. Independent science-based input is important...not fast tracking one governments desire to built a tunnel or road or whatever.

Please DO NOT repeal the Endangered Species Act. This is vital in protecting our at risk species.

Take the time. Do this right...the way that involves science and consults our indigenous communities.
