I oppose bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.
Respectfully, Canada is a leader in environmental conservation and we have the ability to become a massive leader in renewable energies and natural resources. By removing protections like this, we give up this opportunity.
This bill is shortsighted, and gives corporations the ability to entirely ignore labour and environmental laws that Canadians have fought for.
