I strongly oppose Bill 5. This Bill weakens the current protections and strengthen corporations and industries over our climate and environment. More safeguards need to be put in place, not less. This is a regression and this Bill is going in the wrong direction. It is the government's responsibility to protect its people's and lands. Not a mechanism for corporations and industry to do as they will without safeguards.
