I strongly oppose Bill 5. Repealing the Endangered Species Act and weakening environmental protections puts Ontario’s wildlife and ecosystems at serious risk. Economic growth should not come at the cost of biodiversity. I urge the government to reject this bill and protect our natural environment.
In a world where we are struggling with climate change like never before, running our natural environment only worsens the issue, setting up future generations to inherit a diminished natural legacy—one marked by lost biodiversity, fragile ecosystems, and the long-term consequences of short-sighted policy.
