No government should be able to quietly override the Endangered Species Act in favour of fast taking industrial developments. The checks points and processes in the Endangered Species Act are there to support prudent and due consideration before approving development plans with the obvious goal of protecting biodiversity. Bill 5 would be a step backwards in Canada’s need for environmental protection. Without a safe and health ecosystem, human being die. I oppose Bill 5.
