I strongly oppose Bill 5. I want stronger actions to protect endangered species. I oppose the registration-first approach, I oppose shortcuts for industry with no public oversight, and I strongly oppose overriding the law in special economic zones. We need to be taking care to protect and sustain native species now more than ever. Everything is connected in the environment and disruptions to endangered species means disruptions to everything, including our food production. We depend on the environment being healthy, and it's in the best interest of all classes of Ontarians to reject this proposal.
