Why was the Endangered Species Act repealed? I have heard absolutely no justification from this government. We are on the brink of total ecological collapse. We are midst a biodiversity crisis. We have polluted ecosystems (that we rely on for survival, i.e. clean drinking water, food, flood protection) to where they are no longer habitable to both man and animal. Native species are suffering blow after blow from this PC government - at every turn, Premier Ford has removed protections for species that are facing literal extinction, from the use of MZOs, allowing municipalities to opt out of conservation education funding, selling protected land to developers (oops, that's a big scandal!) and repealing legislation such as this. While his ministers and members are silent. Due to this government's actions, your own grandchildren may never come to know the Jefferson Salamander, the Barn Swallow, the beautiful songs of Warblers, Caribou, or stunning flowers like the Swamp Rose Mallow. It's absolutely shameful, and spineless, how this government will bend over backwards to service developers (that are not developing affordable homes, by the way), the construction and mining industry.
