As a resident of Ontario I strongly protest Bill 5. Why on Earth would you need to override environmental protections, labour laws, etc. In these so called 'economic zones'?? Canada is known for its nature, it's beauty, it's landscapes. Our protected species are already battling against Climate change and habitat loss. The land, it's waters, it's animals, are also sacred to our indigenous people. I don't want greedy people with bad intentions in my province, and I don't want the last few places that does have it's natural beauty and habitat destroyed for a buck. I do not want Bill 5.
