I oppose Bill 5. Canada is known for its beauty and wild life, it is a major component of the tourism that helps boost our economy. Stripping the few environmental protections we have left will do nothing to help regular, working class people; it will only help wealthy corporations increase their profits at the cost of the consumers, doing nothing to alleviate any of our actual problems. More highways will not fix traffic, make public transport more easily accessible and faster will. This bill is also disrespectful to the indigenous people who have suffered enough at the hands of the Canadian government. Leave the land alone and focus on things that will actually help your constituents, not the corporations that drain us dry.
