The delays caused by the Endangered Species Act are necessary delays. These "delays" are measures and precautions necessary to ensure that our environment and our ecosystems are properly respected, protected, and preserved. We need biodiversity for nature in our province to not only thrive, but survive, and endangered animals are already at risk of dying out and jeopardizing that balance. Allowing industry to take priority over nature would not only put individual animals at risk, but entire species, and consequently Ontario's larger ecosystems. Ontarians, Canadians, and people around the world love the nature found in our province and country -- do not sacrifice it for hastily expedited destruction of habitats and species!
