I oppose Bill 5.
I want strong environmental protections. I believe your complaints of the effects of the current environmental protections are ridiculous. Bill 5 seeks shortcuts rather than problem solving, creating issues that will take years to fix and cause damage that there may be no fixing.
Reducing government oversight means industry has control over its own choices. Which from history means profit over everything NOT a reduced cost for the consumer. Bill 5's ethos is flawed and not backed by history.
Please reconsider, the damage done to the environment is not easily undone. The burden placed on future generations is not fair.
