If more of the public knew this act was being repealed they would speak out. There is no need to remove the protections of the endangered species for an industrial or commercial project to move forward. Those industries can find another way that will not harm our green space or species. There is absolutely no benefit and public outcry would be louder if they knew. Be openly transparent with your plans and see how the response is. That is being a true representative of the people of the province. Sneaking things past us is not your mandate or what the people of Ontario want you to do.
