I oppose Bill 5 and feel strongly that its proposed benefits do not in any capacity outweigh the negative impact it will bring forth. I in fact want stronger environmental protections in Ontario to preserve our precious wildlife and land. I oppose shortcuts for industry developments which historically and continually undermine the safety and wellbeing of not only the environment, but the people as well. Bill 5 is, at its core, anti-Canadian, and there is no justice in prioritizing industry to gain “prosperity” for our country when doing so rots its very land! How does Bill 5 align with CEPA? With the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act? With Bill S-5?
