Doug Ford’s proposal to weaken the Endangered Species Act is deeply wrong. It puts profits ahead of the environment and opens the door for more destruction of critical habitats. We should be strengthening protections for at-risk species—not making it easier for developers to wipe them out. This move shows a complete disregard for Ontario’s natural heritage.
