“If we want Canada to still exist in the future, we have to protect the few areas left that are home to our native species of plants and animals. Without these things, our land becomes inert, and everything that Canada has ever stood for will disappear with it. This bill is a disgrace to the Canadian way of living and a disgrace to the treaties we have with our First Nations Communities. We took their land; we should at least give them the dignity of trying to maintain said land, and for all it has to offer without exploiting it for the rich person’s benefit. Canada is such a beautiful place and this bill will make it an ugly and gross excuse of a country. This bill goes against everything that Canadians should stand for, we’re one of the few countries left in the world with such expansive wilderness yet our leaders are so willing to throw all of that away? This bill is disgraceful to Canada and everybody who calls themselves Canadian.“
