I strongly oppose Bill 185 and its attack on environmental protections in Ontario. Weakening the Endangered Species Act and limiting public input on development projects will put countless wild animals and ecosystems at risk. These changes prioritize short-term profits over the long-term health of our environment and communities.
Wildlife cannot speak for themselves, so we must. Development must follow strict environmental reviews to protect our forests, wetlands, and species at risk. Ontario should be a leader in conservation, not a cautionary tale.
Please withdraw the harmful provisions in Bill 185 and commit to transparent, science-based decision-making that respects nature and future generations.
