This concerns me greatly. We can't avoid environmental assessments at our peril in particular species at risk. Ultimately we put our species at risk by ignoring the displacement and ruin of our ecosystem for profit. Just look at coyotes as an example. Their rise in urban centre's is caused by continuously building on their land.
If you push this through, profit won't matter. Humans will suffer along with our ecosystem.
Bureaucracy is an issue. Cut the red tape that makes sense so that projects can move faster ONE APPROVED. Find a more sustainable way to proceed.
This is is exactly what it looks like. We won't forget at the next election.
