Bill 5 guts the Endangered Species Act so developers can bulldoze ahead: they’ll just self-register, while “habitat” is redefined to a nest or den, leaving the surrounding forest or wetland fair game. Ecojustice Canada warns that this will “leave species already in decline without the basic things they need to survive.”
As a Canadian and lifelong Ontario resident I strongly oppose this bill. It does not represent me or interests.
Let's protect the wildlife that makes Canada what it is.
