I stand against bill 5. There are regulations set in place to conserve our lands. This protects our wildlife and resources, and the quality of building zones. When people cut corners or build on wet lands the structure of the buildings are compromised and the people living there pay. I live in the city of cornwall where this has happened repeatedly where condos were built without vpor barriers. And now the people who own them on on the hook for thousands in repairs for something that should have been done properly in the first place. And tons businesses were forced to relocate due to constantly cracking foundations due sinking on wet u filled land. And there a tons of houses with the same issues and displaced wildlife. We have historic proof of what developing unproper lands can causea, like the dust bowl that impacted crops and the quality of life for us and live stock for years. We need to plan with caution and make smart decisions that keep our wildlife in balance and our water clean. The housing crisis does not stem from not enough houses it stems from house it's more the cost of living and rent in the economy is too high your focus should be on making the economy affordable so we can buy and rent the existing houses.
