I’m a resident of Ottawa. I strongly oppose this bill. I want strong environmental protections which do not allow for loopholes or shortcuts for industry. I want to ensure the habitats of our Ontario wildlife & biodiversity remain protected long into our future. I oppose that “special economic zones” would allow the law to be broken and public oversight to be ignored. I want to ensure that the indigenous people of Ontario are able to be heard and considered in all environmental decisions and able to maintain their role in being stewards of our shared home.
