I oppose Bill 5. I grew up in southern Ontario and some of my favourite memories growing up are of all the wonderful times I spent surrounded by nature getting to see our beautiful wildlife. It greatly saddens me that the older I get, the more I’ve noticed less and leas wildlife over the years. We need stronger wildlife protection and conservation. We do not need to weaken wildlife protections to enable shortcuts for industry. And we certainly do not need special economic zones where the environmental laws can be overwritten.
Canada is known for its natural beauty. Do not destroy it for corporate greed.
