Mr. Ford,
Please redeem yourself by NOT changing the Endangered Species Act 2007 and the proposed Species Conservation Act 2025. You have done enough damage to our natural environment and it's time to stop and consider why you feel you must treat our beautiful province in this mean and bullying way.
We cannot recover in our lifetime, if ever, all the losses that will occur if you continue on this poorly thought-through path.
Changing this act will easily roll downhill to dismantling other necessary acts that are struggling hard to keep our Ontario beautiful.
Changing this act will be easy; not nearly the amount of effort required to formulate and pass it originally.
Think of the future, not the past. Don't let this become the first tep in an addiction of changing or overturning acts meant for the good of Ontario.
You could not have consulted with any nay-sayers in this decision.
I have lived her for nearly 89 years and I want my Beautiful Ontario to stay just as beautiful for the next 189 yrs. Thank you. R.
