I’m writing to oppose Bill 5 . The removal of checks and balances that could affect the environment far into the future seems foolhardy. Ford’s decision to plough through with the spa at Ontario place is an of an irreversible decision in favour of his capitalist buddies. We should be making decisions to protect green space, protect farmland, and discourage giving more power to developers and corporations without full disclosure and public input.
