I oppose bill 5. Building houses faster will not solve the housing crisis. In the fall of 2024 there were more houses for sale in Ontario than there has been in a decade. Endangered species deserve stronger protection. Giving industries short cuts with no public oversight does not benefit the majority of Ontarians. The law should not be overridden in specific economic zones. The rich are not above the law, nor is the government, and they should not be treated as such.
