If there is one thing I pride myself on as a Canadian citizen, it is its federal and provincial commitment to environmental conservation. In the current sociopolitical and economical climate where large corporations seek to exploit even more natural resources to increase profits, it is imperative that conservation remains a high priority for the Ontario Ford government.
I oppose Bill 5.
I want strong environmental protections.
I oppose short cuts for industry with no public oversight.
I oppose the overriding of laws in special economic zones.
