As someone who lives in Hamilton and can see the damage unchecked industry can do and how much of a struggle it is to repair and maintain the natural ecology of an area's flora and fauna, I whole heartedly oppose bill 5. Ontario needs stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry, which can lead to damage not just to nature but to human lives. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones. Ontario should be a leader in stewardship of the environment.
