By prioritizing development and economic growth, as this government has done and continues to do, this bill erodes the recommendations that scientists and environmental organizations have certified to ensure a healthy, natural environment.
This bill removes far too many of the protections for endangered species and their habitats. It is short sighted. We will need natural spaces, habitats, and other species for the future of humankind. Once gone, they cannot come back.
Economic growth mustn't come at any cost. This is going too far.
