I would like to see more protection, not only for endangered species, but for all life in Ontario. We're living in hard times and that often makes it easier for people to focus on putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their heads, and that is incredibly important, and I support ideas that will help do that. Growing up instead of out. Reducing the size of homes. Instead of taking space away from the animals and plants that make Ontario a much better place to live, perhaps thinking about why a couple with one child needs a 5 bedroom house, when smaller homes would serve just as well, and make space for more people to live and prosper. In our North-East people often have "Grandparents homes" a smaller house in the back yard where parents can live independently and still get support.
Keep our green spaces, perhaps increase them if we can. But do that while giving us more housing, perhaps with a lesser footprint and a little cheaper wouldn't hurt.
Thanks.
