Bill 5 represents a death sentence for our ecosystems as well as ourselves.
It also happens to be irrevocably short-sighted from a financial point of view as it fails to take into account the cost that climate change acceleration and major weather events will have on Ontario and Canada.
Furthermore, such a "do-what-you-will" bill sets a dangerous precedent that other premiers – and politicians at-large – are sure to take advantage of.
Again, this is a catastrophe and the people will not let you live this down.
Sincerely.
