I m completely against this attempt to subvert the regulations to protect endangered species in Ontario. We are already doing so much less than we need to do to ensure our children and their offspring enjoy the diversity of wildlife that we have left. In my lifetime there has already been tremendous degradation to the living environment of so many species - both through direct and indirect actions - and consequently the disappearance of a huge number of species that have been eradicated - from birds to mammals to fish to insects - all an integral contributor to the health of our planet. We cannot allow expediency and power to drive the choices that impact the future we want to leave for next generations - we owe them so much more than that! This is not OK! It is wrong!
