The proposal for this change…

The proposal for this change is regulation and/or bill titling is not flushed out enough to ensure species and environmental welfare and stability will be maintained.
The information provided surrounding governmental involvement beyond the ministry folks responsible for environment considerations, is concerning. Those in certain roles of government may not be aware or in touch with trends and/or species needs. Due to their ability to add or remove from the list of species, I’m concerned that this will act as an open door for projects. For example, if a project can’t occur due to a den of an endangered species; can any governmental body just remove the species from the endangered species list?
I understand there is a housing crisis; however, I think the government needs to consider creative solutions, like using old abandoned shopping centres or converting unused commercial space into residential space - that will allow for us to leave species areas alone for a bit longer while we use space we have already overtaken and that might not disturb species interaction in the environment.
