I oppose Bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and real safeguards for endangered species. I care deeply about the survival of endangered species in our province. They are a vital part of our natural heritage and deserve every effort to ensure their protection. I oppose shortcuts for industry and any attempt to override environmental laws through special economic zones. I’m calling on the government to do its part: care for the land, uphold environmental laws, and protect the ecosystems that make our province unique.
