If the current process takes too long and creates barriers, then change the process not the protection for species already at risk. These species are already vulnerable as a result of human activity and development and we must protect them! The extinction of any species has profound consequences for the ecosystem and our environment. This is lazy and opportunistic. Mr. Ford - I voted for you. Please don’t make a fool of me for believing in you. You will lose my vote if this passes.
