No to Bill 5! Ontarians…

No to Bill 5! Ontarians reject this bill and its dangerous implications. This is the opposite of what Ontario should be doing. Absolutely NOT. If the government is able to remove a protected species from the list, then that gives this government too much control. Residents of Ontario like checks and balances. We need our government to be accountable to experts. We’ve seen what happens South of the border when that is not the case.
This bill is merely a way for the government to override environmental experts, to damage the environment for commercial use, and to have ultimate control over these decisions. We do not live in a fascist state where the rulers can do whatever they way carte blanche. We have rules, we look to experts, and we respect the one earth we have.
