While I do think that establishing a faster, more efficient system when creating infrastructure, or even speeding up construction, this bill barely covers the surface of species protection. Harassment of species should absolutely be prohibited, as it causes animals a lot of stress and smaller animals like squirrels, birds, rodents, etc, are more susceptible to environmental stressors than humans. We are responsible for protecting species from exploitation of their own habitat, they should always come first. A disregard for these animals is like giving a middle finger to all the Canadians who worked so hard. Trump is getting rid of protections to National Parks in America, this bill is very reminiscent of that, do NOT be like Trump.
