I, a citizen of this country…

I, a citizen of this country and Ontario resident, am in opposition of Bill 5. I want the government to implement stronger environmental protections to ensure the preservation of greenspaces and the protection of endangered species, especially those within the Green Belt. It is not worth destroying the province's biodiversity for sole purpose of boosting the economy. Economies can bounce back, environments and ecological systems that we depend on will not be able to recover as quickly as an economy could if we end up destroying them.

I oppose giving giving short cuts to industry without public oversight and I oppose overriding the law in "special economic zones".
