I am a scientist that studies conservation and biodiversity. I urge this bill to not be passed as it would doom an abundance of endangered and protected species across Ontario. We rely on natural resources for every day activities, as well as supporting the economy, but once we limit biodiversity, natural resources become depleted. It is therefore within Ontario's best interest for development and economic status to not pass this bill and continue to protect Ontario's important and fragile ecosystems.
