No. I completely oppose Bill 5. The government of Ontario should not have the power to alter the endangered species list without expert consultation. This list needs to be determined by which species are endangered, not by which projects are inconvenienced by endangered species. The natural resources and habitats of this province are for this and all future generations of the citizens of Ontario. Consultations that assess the damage to Ontario wildlife are not "unnecessary delays," they are a necessary part of the process, ensuring the public is informed and in charge of how we develop our land.
