I am opposed to Bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.

There are reasons why oversight and reglations exist - to protect ordinary citizens from the selfish private interests of a select few. If your projects are worthwhile, then you should easily be able to justify them without resorting to the provisions laid out in Bill 5.

Removing these protections are a strong indicator of already-known harmful consequences that will lead to a reduction in quality of life and sustainability for all Ontarians.
