I truly understand the desire to reduce 'red tape' in order to speed up building and development, I say that as a current renter who's nearly 30 and still not sure when I might purchase a home. However, what's the point in speeding up addressing this housing issue if we're just going to destroy parts of what makes Ontario such a great place to live in the process? Ontarians across the political spectrum all cherish the nature that's available to us, and if we're not careful it might be pushed beyond the brink to never return. This is a dangerous precedent to continue setting and I strongly disagree with letting this Act go through.
