This proposal is DISGUSTING and INCONSIDERATE of all living beings that rely on a diverse and natural environment to thrive, including us humans. We have ENOUGH highways and roads that still create clogged traffic whether there’s 19 lanes or 2 lanes. We have ENOUGH urban sprawl with terribly built homes and enough Walmarts and big box corporation stores.
The current protections serve a purpose- to PROTECT the precious environment from human threats and greed.
The earth and environment can thrive without us, but we cannot thrive without a sustainable environment.
The Premier of this province has one goal- to bulldoze over Ontario with his friends, while earning them all millions of dollars to PERMANENTLY pour asphalt all over our rich soil and cut down our oxygen-providing trees- all of which are HABITATS.
And last thing - WHY does the DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT make decisions without the opinions of those living in society? Government workers are PUBLIC SERVANTS and work FOR the people, not AGAINST their people.
