This is not ok. If we have a science backed committee here to assign what species are endangered, why are we trying to give government carte blanche authority to remove those species? This is a slippery slope of allowing corporate interests to lobby to remove any species that prevents them from building where an endangered species inhabits. I also will not trust Doug Ford’s government to do the right thing and would not authorize his government to have carte blanche authority when we have a committee that is in place to do this for a reason. This tries to override the committees authority for no other reason than to push through corporate interests. It is irresponsible and more of the same deception from Doug Ford we see too often. My stance is a firm NO to bill 5!
