I strongly oppose Bill 5.
This bill undermines essential environmental protections and prioritizes industrial interests over the well-being of Ontario’s ecosystems and communities. We need stronger, not weaker, environmental safeguards—especially in the face of climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and growing public concern.
Cutting corners for industry is reckless. It sets a dangerous precedent and shows blatant disregard for Indigenous sovereignty, farmland, wildlife, and future generations.
I urge you to reject Bill 5 and prioritize a sustainable, just future for all Ontarians.
